Horse Racing Tavern have teamed up with Sandown Park to offer a pair of tickets to the Coral Eclipse meeting on Saturday 6th July 2014!

Sandown Coral-Eclipse Competition Winners

The Horse Racing Tavern have teamed up with Sandown Racecourse to send two lucky competition winners to the Coral Eclipse Meeting on Saturday 7th July 2012!

The winners are Debbie Nicol from Rotherhithe, London and Andrew Clark from Bebington, Wirral – both of which have won a pair of tickets for Saturday’s top class racing action at Sandown Park!

Sandown Tingle Creek Ticket Competition

The Horse Racing Tavern has teamed up with Sandown Park and Sportingbet to offer free tickets to the Tingle Creek Meeting!  We have tickets for both Friday and Saturday’s meeting to give away!

The feature race is the Grade 1 sportingbet.com Tingle Creek Steeplechase, named in honour of one of the greatest two-mile chasers of all time – Tingle Creek. The race has been won by many great names over the years, including Desert Orchid, Kauto Star and Twist Magic.

”I have visited Sandown previously but only for jumps meetings in the winter so it was good to savour the atmosphere of a big flat occasion on such a glorious day. Sandown is one of my favourite tracks as the facilities are good and the viewing is excellent. I was at the Derby last month and will be at the King George at Ascot later this month so at the moment I am spoiled with the great flat races that make up the QIPCO series”.

The Coral-Eclipse meeting is a great day with two listed races, one group 3 and undoubtedly the main attraction is the Coral-Eclipse Group 1 race over 1 mile 2 furlongs – a field which currently includes classy performers such as So You Think, Workforce and Snow Fairy!
